You will venture away from the tourist “hot-spots” and weave around London, discovering its history, from the glamorous and theatrical to the macabre and romantic. From start to finish, you will discover long-forgotten railway stations, a secret tomb in the city, historic pubs, famous ghosts, photographic hotspots, and other hidden gems. The capital is steeped in mystery and history, and there is something for everyone on this tour. If you love ghosts, secret passageways, old theatres, or maritime history, this is the tour for you. You will discover everything from the Ancient Egyptians and the Romans, to the Victorians and even present-day wonders. Sites included are:

Explore Hidden Gems and Landmarks on Foot
On this two-and-a-half-hour walking tour, your professional English-speaking guide will delight you with the history, trivia and ghostly stories that give London its fabulous historic background.
You will meet your guide at Aldgate tube station, surrounded by the sparkling silver skyscrapers before diving into the city’s forgotten history. From there, you will travel on foot so please wear comfortable footwear. As part of your journey, you will take the London Underground, so please make sure you each have a valid ticket, an Oyster card, OR a Contactless credit/debit card. Children aged 11 and under go free, and tickets are available at the meeting point at Aldgate tube station.
The Forgotten London Tour does not have any scheduled toilet stops, so please make sure you go before the tour starts.
The tour finishes near Waterloo mainline station and Lambeth North tube station. If you need any assistance afterwards with toilets, places of interest, directions, how to navigate the tube, or recommendations, just ask your guide, and they will be happy to help.

- The tour is not suitable for a wheelchair due to the pavements and uneven surfaces on the route. British Sign Language is not provided on the tour.
